Mandala Bird Finish!

Mandala Bird Here is my stitching on Mandala Bird by Awesome Pattern Studio. T his is the mock-up with the original pattern colours: I changed quite a few of the colours to suit the intended recipient and give a slightly different interpretation to the original pattern. I removed the white background but kept one row of white stitches around the bird to highlight him. I also added one metallic gold stitch on the eye of the bird to tie in the metallic lettering I charted and added (the lettering is not shown here as it has the recipients information added).    It’s stitched on 18 count Aida 2 over 1 full cross and was such a fun stitch!     Here is my finish on Awesome Pattern Studio Mandala Bird. The Queens of Spades Sends Her Regards I felt pulled to work on this one for Valentines Day, even though I'm still nowhere near the Queen of Hearts!  This is the regular HAED chart. Return of the Rainbow Girl

Rainbow Girl It's been awhile since this one has come out!  I decided it would be great to get a column finish in this year. I stitched the partial page at the bottom and there was badger hanging out there. Reminder of the artwork by Josephine Wall: Previous progress, yes it was 2018!  Oh how the time disappears!:   Current progress: This one is being stitched on 25 count Zweigart Lugana 1 over 1 full cross.   I enjoyed that there were quite a few purples and pinks mixed into this page with all that brown and black! Keeping on Stitching, Iris Keeper of the Rainbow

Moving Along on Iris It's been some time since my last update since life got really busy and I had to move house in a very short amount of time.  I put my stitching down to pack up and look for houses and that's why I've been missing for awhile.  Now, with my stitching and myself re-located I have finally have another page finish to show on Iris.  Previous Progress: Current Progress: I've hit just over 25% complete now! I missed a small section of black on the edge of this page as I needed another skein but will come back to that when working on the next page.  Her face will be on the next page which is exciting!
